There are disabilities you can’t help but see…and there are disabilities you absolutely don’t see. The great miracle of God is that God creates every human being from the same mold, and yet each person somehow is unique. What is most crucial is that we recognize each person’s uniqueness as having value and potential for contribution to our beautiful communities. That’s the power of inclusion. At USCJ, we recognize that power and want to bring it into the forefront of our conversations, now and into the future. At the 20/20 Judaism convention this past December, we premiered this beautiful video illustrating the importance of this topic with the hope that we can spark many new conversations in congregations around the country.
